It’s p much like this in my head, writing. 

I have no desire to rappel 400 ft down the inside of a steam vent, get shot at or strangled; nor do I wish to shoot or strangle others. I don’t particularly want to have an allergic reaction to mako or ruthlessly blackmail my coworkers.

I love noir-flavored fiction. I don’t want noir reality. I really love working in a Buddhist community, and sitting at my nice desk watching the sun rise.
